WHITLEY Golf Club is hosting its annual Captain’s Charity Day next month in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
The event will be held on Saturday 11th May from 12pm offering visitors a whole host of activities for all the family to enjoy.
Organisers say, “The highlight of the day is that the course is open all day, but people have to play the holes backwards in reverse order, offering a unique experience.”
Other golfing activities available on the day include a chipping competition, a straight hit competition and a putting competition.
Children can look forward to face painting, a bouncy castle and a children’s tombola. Four-legged members of the family are also welcome to come along and compete in the novelty dog show. With a variety of categories, any dog can enter.
Other attractions include a cake sale, standard tombola, raffle, bottle stall, a hog roast, and an ice cream van.
