The end of August brings about Melksham’s Annual Comic-Con, and this year is set to be a great weekend for all who attend.
Special guests this year include writers and artists who have worked on a whole host of comic books and television shows, including ‘Doctor Who’, ‘Spider-Man’, ‘Batman’, ‘Daredevil’, ‘Penguins of Madagascar’, ‘The Avengers’, ‘Judge Dredd’ and more.
You’ll also find panels and workshops including topics such as Manga, LGBT in the comic book industry, working with ‘Doctor Who’, creating comics for children and even an audience participation Pictionary session.
The now famous Cosplay Competition from last year returns on Sunday 30th August, with SIX trophies up for grabs – so be sure to work hard on your costumes and wear them with pride.
Tickets are available from KomiX on Church Street, at Melksham Assembly Hall or online on www.melkshamcomiccon.com If tickets don’t sell out ahead of the weekend, you’ll be able to pay for entry at the door.
