MELKSHAM is set to host another of its ‘Tidy Town Days’ on Sunday 8th February.
The event has been organised in a bid to get the town ready for the South West in Bloom seminar which will take place at the Assembly Hall on Thursday 12th February. The seminar will see many dignitaries from the competition attend the town and it is an early opportunity to portray Melksham in the best light before judging takes place later in the year.
The Tidy Town Day will see a band of volunteers completing jobs across the town that make it more presentable. Anyone is welcome to join in with those wishing to take part asked to be at the town hall at 1pm on the 8th February. The tidy-up will take place until 3pm. Anyone who does take part will earn time credits which can be spent on activities in the town or across Wiltshire.
For more information about the Tidy Town Day of time credits call the town hall on 01225 704187 or email miriam@melkshamtown.co.uk.
