THE Mobile Museum will be visiting Melksham Library again on Saturday 10th and Monday 12th of February with a session called ‘Time Machine: Origins of Life’.
The Mobile Museum will be bringing along a collection of fossils. There will be a display from different time periods from early Cambrian to more recent Ice Age artefacts. Nearly all the artefacts are hands-on and can be handled, with a few being just too delicate.
There will be a set of different modern skulls and teeth to demonstrate how evolution in deep time has shaped animal species.
The Saturday show will run from 11-1pm and there will be children’s activities for visitors. There will be a more in-depth guided tour through time for the Monday show which will run from 5.30-7.00pm.
There is no need to book, just drop in.
