NEW Tiny Mites music sessions began at Daisychain Day Nursery in Whitley on Thursday 24th August.
This action-packed session covered dance, lots of exercise, some imaginary play with props and puppetry, numeracy, literacy and team work, action songs and rhymes, along with percussion and musical games. Oliver said he ‘liked driving the car’ and that he thought that ‘Chris was a funny man’.
Tiny Mites is an original, unique, interactive programme for nursery children. It has ethnically diverse characters and different styles of music from a range of cultural traditions, enabling children from all backgrounds to thoroughly enjoy the experience.
Staff said, “We look forward to our next session and can’t wait to learn some new songs and meet some more puppet characters that Chris will bring along with him.”
