LOCAL business Total Carpets is celebrating its one year anniversary and owners Steve White and Terry Weaver say it’s been a fantastic year.
To celebrate the milestone, they are having coffee and cake at the shop in the Market Place on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th October. They will also be offering 10% discount on all carpet orders, excluding fitting. Also, those who book a free consultation and measure for carpets, kitchen or flooring, will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a Henry vacuum cleaner.
Steve said, “It has been a brilliant year for us and we are very pleased with how it’s all going. Getting the second premises was a great step forward for us, expanding the business has always been important, so having the extra unit means we can offer a lot more.
“I really think that we continue to be busy because of the personal service we provide. We always do that little bit extra for people and it’s appreciated. Our prices have stayed competitive since we’ve opened and will stay that way. If anything, we are probably cheaper than we were when we first started because we’re so busy.
“Terry and I are looking forward to the future and have a few ideas in the pipeline, we’re definitely not going anywhere. We enjoy being part of the community of local businesses and we all support each other which is great.
“I don’t think we would have done anything differently, it’s all been really positive. We get cards from customers thanking us, which is always nice. The feedback is always great and a lot of our customers are recommended.
“We’ve really enjoyed the last year and intend on being here for many years to come.”
