Melksham Town Clerk Linda Roberts ran the virtual Bath Half Marathon at the weekend.
“Linda started and finished from King George V park which the town council have just taken over from Wiltshire Council,” reports Melksham Town councillor Adrienne Westbrook. “Linda was cheered on her way by the mayor of Melksham, cllr Pat Aves and deputy mayor cllr Geoff Mitcham.
“Linda is a keen member of Forest Fitness who work out of the park. Linda ran her route in a very credible 2hrs 5mins. Congratulations Linda.”
