AFTER the confetti had settled on the triumphant return of the Melksham Christmas lights switch- on, a team of volunteers were out in force the next day to clean up.
On what was described as a ‘bitterly’ cold Sunday 5th December, 20 volunteers turned out to tidy the town.
“A huge amount of rubbish was collected,” say the Melksham Bloomers who organise the monthly effort. “Massive thanks to all who came and helped.”
