The town’s annual Bonfire Night fireworks display, which is one of the biggest in the area, is due to be held on Friday 1st November.
Wowing crowds with a 15-minute dazzling and spectacular display to music, the event will be held at Oakfield Stadium, home of Melksham Town Football Club and Melksham Rugby Club.
There will also be children’s fairground rides, music and food vendors, with the football and rugby club bars open until late.
A new attraction this year will be the entertaining Dino-handlers, where children will have the chance to meet fun dinosaur puppets.
Gates open at 5pm and the fireworks display will start at 7.30pm. There is parking onsite limited to 200 cars and it costs £5 per car. All proceeds from parking go to Melksham Town Football and Rugby Clubs.
Event organisers Distant Thunder Fireworks also make a donation to the Melksham Christmas Lights Group. Last year, the group were given £770.
