THE family of the cyclist who sadly died while out on his bicycle in Seend have paid tribute to him.
Graham Atkinson, who was aged 85 and from Frome, died after coming off his bike on Friday (01/05) morning while out riding.
A member of the public spotted him lying on Row Lane at around 10am and called the emergency services.
Graham had been staying with his family in Seend due to the current Covid-19 lockdown.
The family’s tribute reads as follows:
“We mourn the sudden loss of Graham, our dear brother.
No longer will we hear his gentle voice and infectious laughter.
He was such a popular, fun loving and outgoing person, the world was truly his oyster.
He travelled the globe making many friends along the way.
All of us, whether at home or abroad, will miss him greatly. He will be in our hearts forever.
Rest in peace dear brother.”
