WILTSHIRE Age UK is hosting a free taster session of its Fitness & Friendship club at Bowerhill Village Hall.
The session is being held on Thursday 19th May, 2pm to 4pm, and is free to all new and current members.
Activities will include a seated exercise session, suitable for all abilities, music from Jamma De Samba, and an opportunity to meet others and have a chat over a hot drink and biscuits.
“Come along and try something new – we’d love to meet you,” organisers say. “Making and meeting friends for a bit of fun and laughter is a big part of the Age UK Fitness & Friendship club and each club leader and supporting volunteers are there to ensure everybody has a good time.
“Each session includes gentle exercises to provide a feel-good factor and that is followed by a refreshment break where there is plenty of time to socialise, and then a selection of group games such as indoor kurling or quoits, finishing with a relaxing Tai Chi session.”
The Fitness & Friendship Club is held on alternate Thursdays, 2pm to 4pm, at Bowerhill Village Hall, entry normally costs £5.
Upcoming dates after the free taster session on Thursday 19th May, are: 16th and 30th June; 14th and 28th July; 11th and 25th August.
