Melksham had an emphatic away win over Bradford on Avon 12-52.
The visitors took the game directly to BoA, pressing them hard, with forwards and backs combining to take the first half 0-44. Tries came from all quarters led by Captain Nick Suter and Steve Watson, with a brace each and Ash Law for the forward contingent.
The backs cut loose similarly through Callum Hurn, Jamie Shipman and Adam Davies bagging one each, with fly half Alistair Smith slotting the conversions. BoA fought back determinedly and were rewarded, in the tough final quarter, with 12 points to stem the flow.
At Melksham home ground, their IIs fought to contain Devizes in an eventual 8-36 loss. A try from Alex Britten and penalty from Chris Rodger, their only points.
