THE Semington Village Fete is this Saturday, 23rd July, from 2pm to 4pm.
The fete will be held at venues along the High Street in the village: the Village Hall, the Somerset Arms and Brook House gardens.
Organisers say, “All our favourites will be there – music and entertainment, a local craft exhibition, plant and cake stalls, children’s games, a barbecue, magic and the long-awaited return of the Semington Duck Race! The ducks have been brought out of semi-retirement, dusted off and are in pre-season training! Tickets for the race can be bought on the day or in advance from the Somerset Arms.
“Entrance to the fete is £1 and includes your programme.”
