THE White Hart at Atworth is hosting live music and the monthly ‘Village get Together’ in the coming weeks for all the community to get involved with.
This Sunday, 28th April, for the pub’s monthly ‘Village Get Together’, the White Hart will be screening Disney blockbuster, Mary Poppins Returns.
The film’s synopsis says, “Now an adult with three children, bank teller Michael Banks learns that his house will be repossessed in five days unless he can pay back a loan.
“His only hope is to find a missing certificate that shows proof of valuable shares that his father left him years earlier. Just as all seems lost, Michael and his sister receive the surprise of a lifetime when Mary Poppins – the beloved nanny from their childhood – arrives to save the day and take the Banks family on a magical, fun-filled adventure.”
The film will be screened at 5pm. Organisers say, “Popcorn will be available! Make sure you come early to grab yourself a front-row seat!”
On Friday 3rd May, quick start your Bank Holiday weekend with the White Hart as they host Bath-based band, The. Honey Coolers.
This quartet plays a mix of raw edged rhythm n blues with intrenched soulful overtones. Music will be played from 9pm to 11pm.
