Volunteers responded to a last-minute plea from the town council to help out with the distribution of the hanging baskets that would be arriving outside the town hall at 9am the next morning.
“Thank you for all the staff and volunteers who did a great job in getting the floral baskets hung up around our town,” said cllr Sue Mortimer. “The baskets not only bring serenity and beauty to our town but also improve overall air quality by filtering out pollutants and generally help with our health and wellbeing.
