MELKSHAM Walking Football has been postponed until further notice.
The sessions, normally hosted at Melksham Oak School, have been cancelled whilst an alternative location is found.
Tony Norton who is the lead volunteer/organiser said, “It is with great regret that I have to inform you that the Monday Melksham session at Melksham Oak School has been cancelled.
“Playing outdoors on the astro wasn’t cheap and Melksham Town were losing money on it every week, especially when they are still charged for sessions that are rained off.
“Rob Bridges is working very hard as we speak to find an alternative and hopefully I will have some news very soon regarding a relaunch of the Melksham session in October. Thank you everyone who supported this session.
“Please don’t stop playing, we have enough other sessions close by that you are welcome to play at until we get back with news on Melksham.”
