THE building that is currently home to Melksham’s last bank is expected to go on the market in the near future.
Commercial property agents, Hooton’s, has said that the building is ‘coming soon’ to its listings of available properties. They describe the building as “suitable for a wide range of uses.”
Lloyds Bank announced the closure of 41 of its branches last month, including Melksham, blaming a decline in visits by customers. The Melksham branch, on the High Street, will close on 15th February next year.
