MELKSHAM Rugby Club youth teams held their annual awards evening recently with awards being presented to players in the Under 7s through to the Under 15s team.
Youth chairman, Phil Dwyer said, “It’s been an incredible season across all our age grade teams, where the kids have developed not only their rugby skills but their confidence and friendships which was on display at our end of season awards.
“Whether the children won or not they showed huge support and respect for each other, cheering on their peers’ successes and congratulating each other whether they had won an award or not. The whole youth section should be proud of their efforts this season as every single child that put on a Melksham shirt has done the club proud. And a massive congratulations to our under 16s for winning the D&W Championship League Cup!”
