FOREST and Sandridge Primary School will be the home of a new pre-school next month, when Seedlings opens for the first time.
With the help of a £10,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund, the school will open the new facility, at the new building on Cranesbill Road, on Monday 5th September.
Headteacher Anna Willcox said, “Relocating to our current premises in September 2015 is what gave us the opportunity to incorporate this service for children in our local community.
“The teacher and support staff will ensure that the children in Seedlings have the best possible learning experiences in preparation for starting school.
“We hope you enjoy finding out about what Seedlings will have to offer your child!”
The pre-school will be run by a full-time qualified early years teacher alongside additional staff. Facilities include indoor and outdoor learning spaces.
The deadline has passed for September entry but to find out more about Seedlings contact Forest and Sandridge on 01225 703394.
