A temporary road closure on Pathfinder Way – the road between Melksham and Bowerhill – is going ahead from Monday 10th June for 21 days.
The road will be closed from its junction with Halifax Road to its junction with Western Way. The closure is taking place to enable Taylor Wimpey to carry out road widening and improvements to the surface of the road. The housing developers are currently building 213 homes on land either side of Pathfinder Way on the outskirts of Bowerhill.
A temporary ‘no waiting at any time’ restriction will be in place on Lancaster Road to prevent possible congestion caused by traffic diversions in place.
Bus services D3 and X72 will still call at bus stops in Bowerhill, but services may be affected due to buses having to take a longer route around the area.
For further information regrading these works, contact Nick Courtney at Taylor Wimpey on 01454 628407.
