What better way to get into the festive mood than listening to a top quality modern choir performing a mix of modern and traditional Christmas numbers.
That is just what is on offer at Christ Church, Shaw on Saturday 3rd December at 7.30 pm, when the popular Bath based choir CitySound Voices present the “Sound of Christmas”.
The 30 strong choir will again be conducted by the talented Australian born Ruth McKibbin and will be joined for this concert by special guests Kes Soul, a talented group of about 15 young musicians from King Edwards School in Bath led by Mark Boden their conductor and resident composer.
CitySound was formed in 2012 with a determination to sing as varied a repertoire as possible – everything from Monteverdi to Bohemian rhapsody, and since then they have gone from strength to strength recently being featured on Radio 3.
Tickets can be reserved by ringing 01225 708840 or purchased on the door for £10 adults, with free entrance for children. You won’t want to miss this. It promises to be an exceptionally entertaining evening.
