Freeland Automotive Ltd in Melksham has raffled off a Peugeot convertible to raise funds for a little girl’s new wheelchair.
Freeland Automotive’s service manager, Adam Mead, wanted to do something to help a little girl called Mya who goes to the same school as his sons. Throughout May, the company raffled a Peugeot convertible to raise money for a new lightweight wheelchair. This new wheelchair will give Mya her independence and the ability to play with her friends. The draw was held on Saturday 20th May at Freeland Automotive Ltd in Forest Road. The lucky winner was Mrs Scott (pictured left).
Freeland Automotive raised £555 and her parents were delighted to receive a cheque. The company would like to thank all their customers, everyone who helped sell the tickets as well as all of the people that know Mya who came into the garage especially to buy tickets
