Melksham Town Youth U12 Typhoons football team have won this season’s Sportsmanship Award for the entire U12 age group of 28 teams in the Mid Wilts League.
The awards are based on the scores given by the opposition with regards to player and supporter behaviour.
The team was previously runners-up for the same award in 2013-14.
Manager of the team Stuart Viveash, “This is a fantastic achievement and I am delighted for the team as they are a great bunch of kids who play the game in the right manner.
“We are lucky to have a really good set of parents who come and support the team, week in week out, come rain or shine. As this is my last season with the team it is really good to go out on such a high.”
