Melksham visited Warminster for the return match and in the early stages both team probed for an opening.
Lineout ball kept in possession by deft handling from Warminster backs resulted in the first converted try to the home team.
The intensity of play drew in the Melksham backs opening space out wide for the home team to score again. Pressure continued from both sides, Warminster coughing up a penalty, duly taken by Adam Davies to get the visitors on the board.
Injuries had taken its toll on the visitors having fielded all replacements including the captain Charlie Radcliffe in the first 20 minutes. Pressure by Warminster rewarded with a converted try just before the close of the half 19-3.
Warminster struck again near the restart with their outside centre Rokoduguni weaving seemingly effortlessly through the defence for their bonus point score. Melksham rallied with a drive off the ruck with a score by Josh Partridge converted by Davies.
Melksham fought hard but couldn’t deal with the intensity of the play and the calm passing out of the tackles from the Warminster back line. The home side scoring thee more tries to seal the game a second yellow seeing the visitors down to 14 men for the last of these. Final score 45-10
