MELKSHAM fundraiser, Kerry Pearce, has thanked all who donated during her silent auction event in aid of The Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal.
The event was in memory of Bowerhill teenager, Zoe Chapman, who died last year, aged just 15, after being diagnosed with heart failure. In August, Kerry held a fundraiser in her memory where they raised £2,134.80 to go towards purchasing six new ECG heart monitors costing £9,000 for the Dolphin Cardiac Ward at Bristol Children’s Hospital.
Kerry said, “I would like to thank those who donated raffle and silent auction prizes and also the Corinthian Casuals and Melksham Town FC. Also to Avril Pearce and Jenny Perrin who did the lovely buffet.”
