MELKSHAM Town Football Club celebrated the end of the season this month, with its annual presentation evening.
This year’s campaign closed with Town securing a very respectful 8th place finish in division one of the Southern League, the highest in the club’s history.
Awards presented to the first team were: the Dave Phillips Cup for top goal scorer – Luke Ballinger; players’ player of the season – Albie Hopkins; first team manager’s player of the year – Aidan Chainey.
The evening also celebrated the achievements of the club’s other senior teams, which includes, Reserves, Development, U18s, Ladies and Vets teams.
Awards presented included: Vets manager’s player of the year – Lee Morgan; Ladies manager’s player of the year – Lauren Wylie; U18s manager’s player of the year – Charlie Cooke; Development manager’s player of the year – Callum Thorburn; Reserves manager’s player of the year – Matty Caslin; Vets players’ player – Simon Charity; Ladies players’ player – Andrea Chludilova; U18s players’ player – Theo Black; Development players’ player – Olly Clarke; Reserves players’ player – Kyle Bird; young player of the year – Sam Dowell; chairman’s clubperson of the year – Jamie Bush.
