The free skating and scooting days that took place this month have been hailed as a ‘huge success’ by Melksham Town Council, which partnered with ATBShop Skate Warehouse and the Wiltshire Council FUEL Programme team to put on the event.
Around 65 people attended across both dates, which ran on 8th and 22nd August, to take part in the free skating and scooting events led by ATBShop. A free lunch was provided on both days by the FUEL team.
The ATBShop team also had a free scooter to give away and Melksham resident Jack Williams was the proud recipient of new ‘Blunt’ scooter, which was presented to him by Melksham Town Mayor, Councillor Tom Price.
ATB still has one free scooter to give away and everyone who entered at one of their Wiltshire-based events over the summer will be included in the draw. The winner will be notified at the end of the month.
