With sweeping changes to rental legislation on the horizon, one Melksham property professional is stepping forward to help local landlords understand what lies ahead.
Alistair Saunders, Director of Blueleaf Property, has been managing rental homes across Melksham and the surrounding areas for more than 15 years. Over that time, he has built a reputation for giving clear, honest advice to landlords navigating an increasingly complex lettings landscape.
Now, with the upcoming Renters’ Rights Act set to reshape the private rental sector, Alistair believes landlords need practical guidance more than ever.
“The legislation coming through will represent one of the most significant changes the industry has seen in decades,” he explains. “Many landlords are hearing bits and pieces in the media but aren’t always sure what it actually means for them and their properties.”
To help address this uncertainty, Blueleaf Property is hosting a Renters’ Rights Act Landlord Information Evening on Monday 16th March at The Kings Arms Hotel in Melksham.
The event will provide local landlords with a clear overview of the proposed reforms and how they could affect tenancy agreements, property management, and compliance responsibilities in the years ahead.
For Alistair, keeping ahead of legislative changes has always been central to how he supports clients.
“The lettings industry has evolved enormously over the last 15 years,” he says. “Regulation has increased significantly, and landlords now have far more responsibilities than ever before. My priority has always been to stay ahead of those changes so I can give landlords accurate, legislation-led advice that helps them protect both their properties and their tenants.”
Landlords attending the evening will have the opportunity to hear about the likely impact of the Renters’ Rights Act, ask questions, and better understand what steps they may need to take moving forward.
“With so much change on the horizon, the most important thing landlords can do is be informed,” Alistair adds. “This event is about giving people clarity and helping them prepare.”
The Renters’ Rights Act Landlord Information Evening takes place at The Kings Arms Hotel, Melksham, on Monday 16th March starting at 5:30pm and is a FREE to attend event.
