The Wiltshire School of Gymnastics entered three teams into the Wiltshire Teams competition held at the academy based at Bowerhill.
This is a voluntary competition. There is a maximum of five gymnasts in the team with the three highest scores on each piece counting towards the team total.
11years and under – GOLD – Zoe Hunt, Brooke Johnson, Polly Boother, Aby Hemmens
13 years and under – GOLD – Erin Vincent, Holly Pearce, Georgia Gregson
13 years and over – SILVER – Thea Wakeham, Alex Purbrick, Emily Young, Maddy Poh. The English Championships were held on Friday 13th March at Loughborough University.
Jessica Daykin (13) of WSG competed at her first English Championships where she finished a very respectable 20th in her age group (12-13 years).The English Championships is a voluntary competition where the gymnasts compete on all four pieces of apparatus (vault, bars, beam and floor). This is a national event with gymnasts competing from all over England.
