MELKSHAM Community Bus, which is run under the auspices of Melksham Council of Community Service, recently received a donation of £600 from Waitrose.
This was a result of the Community Matters scheme in which customers show their support for local charities via the green disc system in the Melksham store.
The money has been used to pay for modifications to improve access onto their two new mini-buses acquired through a DfT government funded initiative.
Melksham Community Bus provide a door to store shopping service and regular excursions for anyone in Melksham, particularly those without personal transport.
