A new chapter in coach touring began on Monday, 2nd March, as Holidays & Cruises Travel Experts hosted their inaugural Mystery Tour using their brand-new luxury coach.
The event marked the first outing for the company’s impressive 44-seat Mercedes Tourismo, a modern touring coach designed to offer passengers a comfortable and unique travel experience along with the latest road safety features. One of its standout features is a rear kitchen onboard, allowing refreshments to be prepared during the journey.
The Mystery Tour kept passengers guessing about the destination until the journey unfolded, adding an element of excitement and adventure to the days out. The inaugural trip attracted enthusiastic travellers keen to be part of the launch event.
Director Steve Plummer said the new coach represents a significant step forward for the company’s growing range of fully escorted tours.

“Our aim is to offer something a little different for travellers,” he said. “The Mystery Tour was all about the fun of the journey, the surprise of the destination, and enjoying the experience together in comfort with our clients”
The new Mercedes Tourismo provides spacious seating for 44 passengers and has been specially equipped for longer touring journeys, helping the company expand its programme of day trips and extended coach holidays.
Holidays & Cruises Travel Experts offer a full programme of days away, theatre and holidays throughout the year including Switzerland, Austria, Scotland, Ireland and England. 2027 will see Spain, Italy and Isle of Man return plus new destinations in the UK.
