A Scout Association 40- year service award for Anne Cranham, who is assistant district commissioner Beavers and chairman of Broughton Gifford & Holt group executive committee, was presented by the district commissioner, Chris Broom, on 28th February.
“Anne has worked tirelessly for the Wiltshire West Scout District and for group events and fund raising over this time, and the award is well-deserved.
“Anne is currently working as part of a team with the young people from Shaw, Whitley and surrounding villages to start up a Beaver colony and Cub pack, which will hopefully be up and running after Easter at Shaw School.
