MELKSHAM Town FC has welcomed Luke Ballinger back to the club.
The popular versatile player, who also served the club as assistant manager and player-coach, had announced his departure in June after 15 years with the club due to work commitments.
Manager, Rich Fey said, “I’m pleased that Bally has agreed to re-join us. Bally went to play at Corsham due to his work commitments and the travelling but found that as the season started he could still commit to Southern League.
“We have been low on numbers especially up top with so many injuries to our forward players – it was good timing for us all. He will be a great asset for us with his experience and at training it felt like he hasn’t been away.”
Luke returned to the team on Saturday 11th September, at Bristol Manor Farm, coming off the bench in Town’s 3-1 triumph.
