Melksham Cons Club is set to host a night of classic soul and timeless hits with a Barry White tribute evening on Saturday 4th July.
Organiser Dave Jenkins said the event will feature “the UK’s number one tribute to Barry White,” performed by David Largie, whose show celebrates the music of the legendary singer.
The evening will be split into two sets, with the first dedicated to Barry White’s best-known songs, including My First, My Last, My Everything, Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Baby and Let the Music Play. The second set will feature a wider selection of soul classics.
“It’s an immaculate journey through the classic hits, brought to life by the unbeatable David Largie, whose soulful crooning and smooth mannerisms perfectly encapsulate the legendary singer,” said Dave. “His velvet voice, audience interaction and party atmosphere lend themselves to an unforgettable night which has been stunning audiences both in the UK and abroad.”
David Largie has built a reputation as one of the most authentic tribute performers on the circuit, with close attention to Barry White’s distinctive style, stage presence and performance.
“There are very few artists with the talent, charisma and experience to pay tribute to such a huge personality,” added Dave. “David has a unique gift to entertain, engage and leave audiences feeling special, and it’s this that enables him to do justice to the much-loved and sadly missed legend.”
Tickets are £10 to include canapés during the interval and can be purchased in advance from the club or on the door or call 07702 826046 or 01225 702886.
