A new bench has been installed in the Prince of Wales Garden, next to the Roundhouse on Church Street.
The bench is in memory of Bob and Mary Salisbury who were councillors in Melksham for many years. Mary Salisbury was chair of the Urban District Council between 1960 – 1962, before it became the current Melksham Town Council, and Bob was chair between 1974 – 1976.
