To celebrate the Coronation of the King, The Market Tavern will be hosting a hot ‘Coronation’ buffet in front of the venue on Saturday 6th May.
“Come and celebrate the Coronation with us – we will be offering tasters of very best of British food,” said assistant manager Sam Hall.
“These will include Yorkshire puddings with pulled roast beef brisket; Coronation chicken, chicken tikka masala, sausage casserole, with vegan options, plus roasted rosemary wedges.
“Plus for dessert, strawberries and cream and toffee apple crumble and custard.
“All tasters will be a £1 per serving, with no restriction on numbers of visits, with proceeds going to two local charities – Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Devizes Opportunity Centre, which supports local children with special needs and their families. Please bring cash to make the transactions fast and simple as possible.
“On the Sunday, we will have our celebrated Sunday Roast with live jazz music from 1-3pm, and on the bank holiday Monday (8th), we will also be offering Prosecco Breakfasts from 10am-12 noon.
“And on Bank Holiday Monday, our lunch menu and cream teas are available from 12 noon to 4pm.
