THE Pig and Whistle pub is hosting prize bingo, live music and its charity breakfast club in the weeks ahead.
On Sunday 6th February the Pig and Whistle presents its very first prize bingo event, from 4pm to 7pm.
The pub says, “An afternoon of great fun, games and a raffle with lots of prizes to be won. Prizes have all been donated by local businesses. All proceeds raised will be donated to local charity Dorothy House. Eyes down at 4pm – see you there!”
On Saturday 12th February the pub has live music from band Covergirl.
The pub says, “Covergirl are one of the UK’s top live covers bands. Fronted by superb female vocalist, Tracey Jones, backed by an excellent group of musicians. With songs from all eras of Pop and Rock including current hits.”
The band will be performing from 8.30pm to 10.30pm.
On Saturday 19th February the pub is hosting its charity breakfast club, from 9.30am to 2pm.
“Throughout the year here at The Pig we hold charity breakfast clubs to raise money and awareness for local groups,” says the pub.
“We will also have our trolley open for collecting any non-perishable goods to pass on to the local food bank. We, The Pig and Whistle will donate £1 per full English sold – the money is donated to a new charity each month. Tea and coffee is available for a donation.
“So join us for a full English or just a breakfast bap (veggie and kids’ options available) and a catch up.”
