A NEW class for parents and their babies has started at Bowerhill Village Hall.
Boppin Babies is a baby sling dance fitness class designed for parents who carry their babies in a sling, carrier or wrap.
Charlie Baker who runs the classes said, “I started Boppin Babies last August after deciding I’d like to go back to work but had my baby to consider, so I decided to incorporate work and childcare.
“I’m a trained dancer, personal trainer and sling/carrier peer support accredited, so after seeing a video on YouTube I thought this was a great idea, so I set up my own class. I’ve had such an amazing experience with my son and baby-wearing that I am really passionate about facilitating that same experience for other parents.
“Boppin Babies has proved to be a fantastic opportunity for mums to get out and meet other baby-wearing mums and get a great workout in the process, without even having to put their baby down. I believe Boppin Babies has really contributed to helping mums in the local community get back into movement and exercise after having a baby.”
The first session is free and then £6.50 per class or £40 for 8.
