Spencer Melksham Bowls Club have been awarded £1,600 from the Asda Green Token award scheme.
Melksham’s Asda community champion, Emma Scott, visited the group on 10th June to present the cheque. The money has been awarded to the club to purchase disability equipment for use by members and visitors.
Anne Hutchinson from the club said, “Emma was shown items already purchased with some of the grant and watched members in action. After the presentation, members took part in a fun-filled club friendly, followed by a ploughman’s supper.
“The members of Spencer Melksham Bowls Club are very grateful to Emma and would like to thank Asda for their support in awarding this grant.”
