MELKSHAM Town Council is supporting local businesses in a community-driven effort to promote a welcoming and inclusive environment for breastfeeding mothers in Melksham. It follows a unanimous resolution from the council’s community development committee, in January last year.
The aim is to create a network of establishments that openly welcome and support breastfeeding mothers, providing them with a comfortable and accepting space to nurture their infants.
Melksham Town Council have free posters available for local businesses to display in their windows or elsewhere on their premises. Posters are available from the town hall for participating businesses to collect.
