MELKSHAM woman, Ashleigh Berry, will be doing a bungee jump to raise money for the road safety charity Brake, in memory of Max Lewis who died in 2014.
Ashleigh will be facing her fear of heights head on to raise awareness and money for Brake in memory of her friend Max Lewis who died in a car accident in Lacock in 2014.
Ashleigh said, “I’m doing the bungee jump because Max was a good friend and a wonderful person and because of a nasty car accident in which he was the passenger, he lost his life.
“I think it’s really important to help raise money for Brake because they’re a fantastic road safety charity that is trying to prevent tragic accidents like the one Max was in. They also help people that have been seriously injured in accidents, as well as those who have been bereaved.
“Lately, there’s been so many accidents locally and I just really want to help in any way I can.
“I chose a bungee jump because I’m quite scared of heights. I did think about a sky dive but I think that’s an obstacle I’ll face after the bungee jump. I want to raise £400, so please help me raise the money; whether it’s a little or a lot it all counts. I’m extremely nervous about the jump, especially after watching a few videos on You Tube!”
Ashleigh will be doing the jump on 4th June in Bristol. To sponsor her visit
