Following the success of their 2016 Patient Information Evenings, Spa Medical Centre and their Patient Reference Group will be hosting the first in their 2017 programme on Tuesday 21st February.
This event is aimed at patients of Spa Medical Centre who are carers for friends or family members.
Presentations will be given by Helen Gough, from Carer’s Support Wiltshire and Wendy Clayton, from Alzheimers Support. The evening starts at 7.30pm and refreshments will be provided. Booking is not required but spaces are limited on a first-come first-seated basis.
Hopefully the evening will provide support and advice for people who act as carers. The evening will also highlight the practical and emotional help that is available though local agencies and charities.
