Melksham’s One Voice Community Choir is celebrating advent and the coming of Christmas by presenting a selection of popular songs, sacred melodies and traditional carols on 17th December.
The group of enthusiastic singers, who last performed for the Theatre Royal (Bath) Fundraising Group, have been rehearsing since October, and hope the evening will bring much festive spirit to those attending, helping to provide inspiration for the season ahead.
One Voice Choir Celebrates Christmas is at St Andrew’s Church, on Saturday 17th December @7pm. Refreshments will be served. Tickets are available from choir leader Lee Ingram on 07766 244321 or at the door, priced £10.
“The local class meets on Thursdays at 7pm at the Baptist Church, Old Broughton Road,” said Lee.
“Anyone who loves to sing is encouraged to join – there are no auditions and nothing to lose but your inhibitions … it’s fun, friendly and feel-good!”
