ONCE again Melksham Tourist Information Centre has a wide range of Christmas cards which they are selling on behalf of “Cards for Good Causes.”
Staff from the centre say, “The money from the sales will benefit a very wide range of causes including our local charity, the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
“85% of the money we take is guaranteed to benefit the causes as these cards are all commissioned and produced by the charities themselves. This differs from other charity cards on sale where as little as 10% may go to charity.
“These are very high quality cards in a wide range of designs.
“In addition to the cards we have a variety of other goods including gift wrap, gift tags, Christmas novelties, tea towels, Advent calendars etc etc.
“Don’t forget we also sell stamps and are expecting to have this year’s Christmas stamps in stock soon.
“Do come along to the Tourist Information Office opposite the Post Office in Church Street. We are open every day except Sunday. You can buy from us secure in the knowledge that your money will be benefitting many charities.
“We will also be acting as a collection point for the fantastic local delivery service offered by local Scouts.”
