STUDENTS at Forest and Sandridge Primary School joined forces with Lloyds Bank on Tuesday 14th November to raise money for Children In Need.
Volunteers from Lloyds banking group came in to work with the children at the school to raise money for Children in Need. The children were dressed in spots for the day and completed various activities.
Some of the activities included estimating the spots on a poster, jumping through hoops in a timed race and a special Pudsey game of musical chairs.
The staff and students managed to raise £501.43 in total. Lloyds Bank offered to match the total fundraised by the school. The vice-chair of governors, Simon Lawrence, who also works for Lloyds banking group, come to a special celebration worship on Friday 17th November and presented the school with a cheque for £1,002.86, all going towards helping those children in need across the UK,
Vicki Liddell, acting deputy headteacher at Forest and Sandridge School said, “The children and staff thoroughly enjoyed doing the activities all day and loved dressing spotty!”
