Melksham Choral Society is holding their Christmas concert at the United Church on Saturday 16th December at 7.30pm.
The society reports, “The church is in the High Street next door to the Kings Arms, the Market Place end of town. This is a lovely church with a lovely acoustic.
“This year the concert includes the Vivaldi Gloria and the Christmas Mass by Ronald Corp, which incorporates all the popular carol tunes, tunes that we recognise. This year we have the pleasure of two great soloists, Angela Kazimierczuk, soprano, and local girl Marie Elliot, mezzo soprano, and the talented David Bednall on the organ, all as usual conducted by Paul Badley.
Tickets are £10 pre-booked and £12.50 at the door, as normal we do not charge for accompanied children. Tickets are available from the Tourist Information Centre and choir members.
During the interval we will include free mince pies with the coffee and teas.
