AN eight-year-old local girl is throwing a party to celebrate the moment she has her hair cut off so she can donate it to charity.
Local girl Evie-Rose Crook is giving her hair away to show her support for the Little Princess Trust, a charity that provide real hair wigs to children that have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment or other illnesses.
Having recently turned eight, the fundraising event will also be an opportunity to celebrate Evie-Rose’s birthday.
There will lots on offer at the fundraising party including various stalls, a raffle, silent auction, cake sale, crafts, candles, bags and jewellery and a bouncy castle with a slide for children to enjoy.
All money raised will go to The Little Princess Trust. The event will be held at the Melksham Forest Community Centre, which has been kindly donated free of charge, on Saturday 27th May from 10.00am until 4.00pm. The big haircutting moment for Evie-Rose will be around 12.00pm.
