THE next films to be shown at the Melksham Monday Movies Club will be Jersey Boys and Leave of Absence.
The Jersey Boys on Monday 13th May tells the story of four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic 1960’s rock group The Four Seasons whose songs include Can’t Take My Eyes Off You; Silence is Golden and Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.
Starring John Lloyd Young, Erich Bergen and Michael Lomenda, the film was directed by Clint Eastwood.
Leave of Absence on Monday 20th May tells the story of how, when a married man’s mistress falls ill, he must make the toughest decision of his life.
Starring Brian Dennehy, Jacqueline Bisset and Blythe Danner, the film was directed by Tom McLoughlin.
Doors open at 1.30pm and the films start at 2pm. There is a break for tea or coffee and a chance to catch up with friends before finishing around 4pm. Admission is by donation, with a suggestion of £4.
