MELKSHAM Carnival committee is appealing to the community to share their old photos, memorabilia and their stories of carnivals from the past.
The committee has been building up a history of Melksham Carnival and its royalty for some time and are hoping that there are still some hidden gems about the years gone by that are yet to be discovered.
Anyone with something to share about the carnival’s past can visit Andy York Photography in the Littebrook Centre and speak to carnival committee member Christine York. The committee would like to stress that copies of photographs can be made if someone wants to keep the original.
