54200061032 | Crime – Violence Against the Person | 25/06/2020 12:41 | DIVISIONAL POLICE HEADQUARTERS, HAMPTON PARK WEST, MELKSHAM, (ED12) SA female offender has kicked and punched a Police officer whilst in Police custody. Shannon GRAHAM, 32, of CHURCH WALK, MELKSHAM was later charged with assaulting an emergency worker, along with further offences of criminal damage to a car on the 20th June, and shoplifting offences in Melksham, Chippenham and Corsham. She will appear at Swindon Mags on the 7th July 2020.

A suspect has since been identified and Police enquiries are ongoing at this time. There is no ongoing risk to public safety.

The vehicle was seized and removed under section 165 of the Road Traffic Act and the driver reported for the relevant motoring offences.

The driver subsequently failed a roadside breath test and was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. Jamie AMOROSO, 28, from LINCOLN GREEN, MELKSHAM was later released and charged with drink driving. He will appear at Salisbury Mags on the 7thAug 2020.

The male driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while over the prescribed drug limit and no insurance. His vehicle was also seized and removed from the road. The male, in his 20’s from Melksham was later released RUI (Under Police Investigation)

Andrea TACCUSO, 30, from WHATLEY’S CLOSE, WORTON has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker, along with further offences of failing to provide a specimen of breath, and criminal damage. She will appear at Salisbury Mags on the 7th Aug 2020.

The male, in his 20’s, from Melksham was given an adult caution for possession and remanded to court for the warrant offences.

The driver failed a roadside breath test and was arrested. Joshua MAY, 25, from ARNOLD’S MEAD, CORSHAM was later released and charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol. He will appear at Salisbury Mags on the 7th Aug 2020. |
